I noticed mine had a thick layer on top (stone chips on a couple of wheels), that's why I thought it wasn't powder coated. Wish it had a harder shell on the wheels. Most are powder coated fron the factory

Side guards are off the Ford accessories website. I had ordered the paint matched narrower side guards but the paint wasn't even close! So I sent them back.Where did the guards at the bottom of the doors come from? Are they actually functional?
You get all of this except the grill on LariatsIn the actual Factory BAP you also get black side mirrors, blackened "FORD Ovals", the BAP Taillights and Grill.

The texturing one must match your wheel fenders all aroundNo the hood deflector is smooth gloss black. Hood treatment is black carbon fiber wrap.
That was my initial concern as well. I'm not aware of any OEM that powder coats aluminum wheels. They are always painted from what I've seen, probably in part because the A356-T6 alloy that is common in low-pressure gravity-cast wheels starts to anneal at about 400F and powder coat is baked on at around 350F-400F. Even baking on low-temp powder coat (250F or so) can start temper loss in T6 aluminum if held at that temperature for long enough.I wondered about powder coating the wheels because of the heat. But I guess a lot of folks do it. A nice clear coat sounds good tho.
No...$125/grill...$50/caps...$150/step rails and brackets.Great idea! I may try that if I get my Nudge Bar. Very expensive?
