If Nissan offered a more efficient option instead of that thirsty 3.8L V-6, I may have ordered one, reluctantly - my goal was to keep my purchase under $30k, and the Frontier was very much above that, but I'm sentimental about Nissan pickups. The refreshed one is really good looking (that interior of the previous gen was painfully dated)!

That being said, the 2.0 AWD Maverick is more than sufficient for my needs, and I'm excited for it.

Well, seeing how I get to keep an additional eight grand in my pocket with one versus the other....

The Nissan Frontier Crew Cabs used to be a great deal because it was a good truck, that was dated, but affordable. You could get a Pro 4x around $30k and SV around $26k.

Those days are in the past because the base model crew cab starts at $30k.

The extended cab (not the crew cab) for me. FWIW, the Frontier redesign received a lot of love from journalists. Before inventory got tight, Nissan was famous for huge discounts.

For what they frontier is now vs maverick i would still want the maverick. Id pick the older frontier over the newer one though.
