Which Tonneau Cover will be on my Mavrick Hybrid First Edition?

Can anyone tell me which Tonneau Cover will be on my Mavrick Hybrid First Edition? Will it be a TriFold or Soft Roll up??? Ordered 7/26/21 & scheduled for production week of May 30th. unless it gets pushed back again for the fourth time.

The Ford order guide says it will be a soft folding (tri-fold vinyl).

I have it. It works and it's easy to remove if you need more space. It also has a Ford logo on it, but you can't see it.

Thanks for the picture - Does it have three panels & you just flip it over twice? And does it have a locking mechanism to secure it? Does it cover a portion of the rear window when folded? Thanks again for your quick response.

It's a tri-fold so it's split into three panels and folds over and does block the entire rear window when completely folded open. A lock would almost be pointless since you could tear through the soft material super easily but you can at least secure it closed with latches.

Some of the early materials specified and there were display models of the First Edition with a soft roll-up. However it seems that tonneau design quietly died and was replaced with the tri-fold.

When the tailgate is locked, the tonneau cover with latches in place can't be opened without someone cutting into it, so in that sense it does lock. I have same one that comes on the FE.

Tri fold. It has a clamp on each side to hold it down to the sides of the bed. These are located within arms reach once you open the tailgate.

Have to agree. Maverick friend of mine has the Ford soft and to release it you have to reach way back into the bed and use some odd hanging rod. The trifold has an easy to access cable release system. Also, I have no qualms about putting objects on top of the cover.

Hang in there - the fact that you have a VIN means you will get it. Mine was pushed back a month, but got it 18 days after it was built.
