Which Catalytic convertor shield works with Maverick

anyone knows a catalytic converter shield model and manufacturer that works with Ford Maverick Hybrid?

I don't think any have been made yet because the catalytic converter is up pretty far in the hood and it's almost impossible to cut it out.

Yeah, it’s covered already. The engine rock/air deflector cover. Consider looking into the FX4’s metal skid guard and it’s compatibly with the hybrid.

There are two catalytic converters, a primary and a secondary, the secondary is completely exposed and the FX4 plates will not prevent anyone from stealing it. A member here has already had his secondary cat exposed and I think he said it was a $900 replacement part

I thought that was a resonator. Maybe I’m misremembering an early thread about it.

Unfortunately it's not a resonator. The exhaust connects to the manifold/primary cat and includes the mufflers and the secondary Cat. List price is over $1100

I wonder if an alarm with a motion detector might make sense.

In the 80's, when approaching some cars, some alarms would announce their presence on the vehicle - e.g. "step away from the vehicle."

Maybe figure out a way to hook the Cat to a Tazer...

I think the best I found is this one https://www.catstrap.net/product-page/catstrap-without-alarm-shown-coiled, easy to install, and has a reasonable price to protect the secondary Cat (resonator, issue is it looks like cat so it is going to get hit). a thief is not going to find out the difference between cat and a resonator, it looks like one, he will cut it.

I attached my own Hybrid picture below just spray paint for now, it is this part I am worried about.

I've been researching this.
The orange "Cat Strap" slows down thieves by about 1 minute. Either it will be a visual deterrent, or it won't.

The "multiple wire cage" style slows down thieves by about 3 minutes.

Also as someone else said, damaging your exhaust system is going to cost you the same as a theft. So deterrent is key.
