I had the Motorola A1 then was gifted the AAwireless one.
Both works great but i still do get drop offs in certain areas.
In the end I chose to keep the gifted AAwireless one because (not only was it a gift) it gets OTA software updates through an app, which lets you tweak things. I havent touched the settings though. The only thing with the AAwireless is i bought a shorter cable; the motorola comes with a non-removeable cable.

I have a Motorola MA1 and it worked great for about 2 years. It did crash and reset whenever I drove by certain communication areas, such as airports, police/fire stations, and radio towers. I'm guessing that whatever frequency those used caused the dongle to crash. A few weeks ago it just started to crash repeatedly. Something in it must have fried. Not sure if it crashing once or twice daily caused it to have a shortened lifespan.

About a year ago I bought my wife this Android Auto And Apple Carplay dongle from Amazon and it seems to work ok. It does take a few seconds to connect to her phone because she always calls me as soon as she gets into the car and I can't hear her for about 10 seconds. It works for my phone (Pixel 7 Pro) in her SUV (Mitsubishi Outlander) but I always forget to flip the switch to Apple CarPlay when I'm done driving.

So after my Motorola MA1 went crazy I ordered another one of the AA/CarPlay, the same dongle I bought for my wife. It pairs via Bluetooth, but for some reason, it won't connect after being paired. I am not sure if I just got a bad unit, or if it just does not play well with the Maverick.

So now I'm here searching through the forums to find what everyone is using for wireless AA that's under $80.
