My wife was behind a hybrid yesterday while I'm still waiting on my to get built here in BR.

I posted this at 3:30 and checked my email at 630 pm and low and behold I got the email from ford at 4:30 that my truck is scheduled for the week of May 9th

Yeah hopefully I get it at MSRP and take the truck. I accepted that I wasn't getting it this model year back in January and bought a new car but then ford changed how they are picking builds so I got picked. I just started a business so my finances aren't exactly what they were lol.

If anyone wants a custom cornhole board let me know.

Hopefully. I will trade the new one in on the maverick if I can at least break even on it because a truck is better for the business than an escape. The escape was just on the lot and a reasonable deal.

I also forgot to add that I got married last month so spent some money on that lol.

Just picked up my Maverick from Bayou Ford in LaPlace yesterday. I couldn't be happier with the process. I submitted my original order January 11th. It's pretty lightly optioned, which I think explains the quick turn around.

Bayou Ford treated you well? I live in N.O. and a drive to LaPlace is worth it for a straight up dealership. Any particular salesperson?

I ordered my truck from Chad Thurby. He's the only person I worked with except maybe 5 min with the finance guy. I've bought more than my fair share of cars, and I will say this was one of the more enjoyable car buying experiences.

Going back home in October to get some real home cooked Cajun food. I don't dare try what they call Cajun food here lol.
Ordered the XLT Area 51 with luxury package just sitting back and waiting for the email and phone call.
P.S. my wife is from California and she makes a very nice jambalaya. yummy

In New Orleans ordered same thing with 360(?) package too on Aug. 2. Only thing I've gotten is an order confirmation and a promise of some fits. After reading some guys stories I'm just praying my dealer doesn't try to jack me over after the long wait!

I made same order on 8/2/21 and recieved an order comfirmation. Few months later a promise of some free "fits". that's been it! Now my dealership has changed hands! Now hoping a 2nd dealership is honest and will sell for MSRP and not "pile on"!

Added the Spoiler on my truck yesterday. It’s subtle, but gives the cab a nice shape.
