I have a '22 XLT with EB engine and the 6.5 inch screen above the radio. I have looked all over the dash for a reset button or stem of some sort. Nothing. Checked the owner's manual and it says I can find an option on the home screen called "Select Screens". That option doesn't show up anywhere I've looked, and I've even looked under the phone settings. Messed around with the menu available on the steering wheel and still nothing showing up even hinting there's a trip odometer. What am I missing? Is the trip odometer an option on all Mavericks or not? The owner's manual says I should be able to find "Trip 1", "Trip 2", and "This Trip" as options. Can't find them. Help!

I don't remember if I did mine or my son, but they're on the Instrument Cluster Display via the Menu button.

Edit: Found the Manual's Section for XLT 4.2" Display Options:

110 degrees and not even the "heat index" the weather people now use to make it seem hotter to keep you alert during their shows. That is hellish :devilish: hot, but I sort of think that goes with TX being what it is.:LOL::ROFLMAO:

I think the Sunshade might be reflecting on the temperature sensor. It's about 100 outside.
The Maverick's roof temperature was ~140°

Okay then. Finally getting somewhere. The trip odometer is not where the owner's manual said it is. It described a "Home" screen where one could find an option called "Select Screens". Not mine. It turned out to be accessible by toggling the "OK" switch on the steering wheel. Doing so caused the little display on the instrument panel to scroll through about six option screens. BEHOLD!! There was the trip odometer. Didn't need the "Menu" button. Just started messing around with things. Didn't need the little house shaped icon on the larger screen either. A little more poking at things and I just may figure this technology out to a usable degree.
