I was doing the break in oil change and getting rid of that tiny oil filter, and getting my first real good look at the underside of my 26 fwd hybrid and I notice the tunnel to the rear has the exhaust, including what I think is a gas particulate filter or secondary cat in there and the heat recovery unit that recovers waste exhaust heat to warm up the engine and cabin heater faster. I see no place for a drive shaft to pass through without moving the exhaust out of there into a exposed position?

That piping coming off the exhaust - for the high voltage battery you saw the pipes going near when it's cold.

Not for the cabin sadly.

3 resistor elements in the air flow during extremes and engine is running for enough HVB power to run them. That's for the cabin. Likely won't even need them for your area!

There is room above the exhaust actually if it was AWD. Hard to picture - but those are in threads to see it.

You may mean the resonator - GPF wasn't going on the hybrid from the reports - maybe some states?
And I don't think of Texas as being one of them...
