Now THAT sounds like an A.I. Response!I'll say it again; if you want your engine to last and save money on repairs you should change your oil and filter every time you fill the gas tank. And don't forget to send in oil samples for testing every 150-200 miles.
If you do these things, you'll save money on repairs. Instead of spending $0 on repairs under warranty, you'll spend $0 on repairs. And in 3-4 years when you sell the pickup to get the next greatest thing to hit the market, you'll have spent $0 on repairs, and be able to sell it for the average price for a Mav with that many miles. It's a no-brainer.
And don't forget to use the most expensive motor oil you can find, because if it costs more, it's better. Same for the filter. Everything that costs less than the most expensive is just garbage, even if it was the most expensive and thus best last month.
