When might 2024 order turn into a 2025 order

I have a XLT hybrid order that is waiting on a build date, and I get an occasional email informing me that it's "processing". Order placed July 2023. Just wondering at what point do they stop building for 2024 and the order turns into a 2025 model. I apologize if this topic was already covered, but I did a search and did not find any relevant posts. Thank you!

Not sure about this question, but you can't order a 2025 until sometime in July of 2024 at the earliest. I'm sure there will be an announcement soon.

Thanks! I'm not in a hurry, but just wondering. I'm still driving my '22 and the longer it takes the more I can pay off on the loan.

If its like my Bronco in 2021, you'll be scheduled for production one week before they switch over model years.

One point of clarity, Ford doesn't convert or have one model year "turn into" the next. Previously, they allowed rollover orders for trucks that hadn't been produced, but those were technically new orders with the original order referenced, with all price increased and options removed that came with the new model year. Ford did provide private offers to rollover orders to somewhat negate the price increases, but even with those, you still ended up paying more money for a truck with less features than you originally ordered.

I don't know how "official" it is, but I was told by Ford Customer Care several months ago that because of the refresh, there will be no rollover orders, price protection, or private offers between MY24 and MY25.

*This was in regard to the gas tank recall that Ford in not planning to address until after the end of model year production. I was basically told to order a replacement truck because they wouldn't be extending the rollover private offers past the end of this model years production. Even if the truck was built eight or nine months before, it only mattered when it was sold.

well I got this the other day. Been waiting since sept 2022 and it says I’m getting a 2024 that starts production in sept.

@Terrasmak you can decide whether to take your long awaited truck after the 2025 model year reveal on 8/1/24.
That way you'll know if you like the updated styling, price, and options.
Based on the spy shots we've seen of the 2025's, it'd be a hard pass for me.

I don't know, but little disillusioned see some waited 600-700 days.

I bought 23 lariet hybrid this spring, and ordered a 24 xlt with AWD and 4k tow package, got a Ford no news email about 45 days ago, so am due to hear something soon....

Would be tempted to replace order with 25 Lariet hybrid now AWD and 4k tow offered, but would hate to start wait all over........
