Might Order Again

My Cactus Gray Hybrid XLT Lux finally got built and arrived at the dealer last week. I originally ordered October, 2021, re-ordered August, 2022. I was leaning towards not getting it because I just realized during the wait that my 2016 GTI fulfills my driving needs better, but I went ahead and test drove the Maverick anyway. I figured I ordered it, so I ought to at least give it a drive. I liked it! I loved the whole thing. But, I still kept coming back to feeling like the GTI just works better for my needs. When I really care about fuel economy, it's when I'm doing highway driving, and the GTI does that really well. Trips down to the Bay Area and back from Sacramento often result in 38 to 40 mpg. Great size for parking down there too. I still want a Maverick though! They already sold the one I ordered, so now I'm thinking I might just go order another one and wait another 2 years, lol. Maybe by then it'll fit into my life better.
