Wheel Locks for FX4

Hello,

I’d like to put wheel lug locks on my FX4 but I’m not sure I bought the correct size/shape.

The McGard 24215 M14x1.5 fits, however, the locking lug (left) has a narrow base compared to the lug (right).

What is the correct locking lug?

Someone else posted a pic a few days ago and the wheel lock stuck out way too far.

I believe that it is the same size that I put on mine. The locked lug does stick out noticeably, but its hardly a point of concern. It's a deterrent anyways, so the more obvious it is, probably the better.

Thanks for the advice. I called McGard and they do not carry the Acorn Bulge style but said the 24215 will hold the wheel on. It’s ugly- it sticks out like a sore thumb. I checked Gorilla and they have an acorn style #71641N and I ordered it on A…. It is 1.4” vs 1.64 long and looks very similar to the other lugs.

Should be fine as long as you get the 60 degree conical seat in the right bolt/nut size.

If you are buying a se,t order a set of 5 locks so you can put one underneath on the spare like I did.

Did this work? I didnt order the ford OEM lock nuts so I am curious to how this worked out for you.
