If you think that's messed up, within the first week of owning one someone rear-ended me. I went with cyber orange for visibility!
Fortunately, the trailer hitch is ever so slightly proud of the rear bumper, so that was all they hit. made a little cookie cutter punch of their bumper, but I was...
I can't complain too much about the mileage at altitude necessarily. I'm living between 5-6k, and on my regular drives, I'm still about 27mpg combined city/highway. But I also take the 50 mph side roads to school and work when time permits.
It was a 5x8 enclosed Uhaul Trailer moving all of my world possessions. I'd guess closer to 2k total weight including the trailer with nothing in the bed and I was the only passenger. Average across the entire trip was around 15 mpg, but for about a full tank and a half after I got north of...
I got about 9 mile per gallon towing a trailer into 45+ mph winds driving 70mph through wyoming back in December. 1500 mile haul was rough with those kind of winds most of the way from Texas to Montana.
On roads the slippery mode will help maintain control. But if you're in thick snow on what would be a normally be a dirt road, sand has been good to me. You lose traction control and you idle at about 2000 rpms, but it seems to be about as close as you can get to full power 4wd for messy...
I've made a 1500 mile trailer haul from texas to montana moving through 45-50+mph winds, and now I've gotten to take it through some decent snow. Sand mode is quite the beast in loose snow if you should find yourself shoved off the road by an 18 wheeler.
I believe that it is the same size that I put on mine. The locked lug does stick out noticeably, but its hardly a point of concern. It's a deterrent anyways, so the more obvious it is, probably the better.
I've got my airborne wings pinned just above the sunglasses holder in the roof and veteran marked on my drivers license, but nothing external on my vehicle. Especially not firearm related. It just makes your vehicle and home a prime target for theft. That said, if you fancy an American or POW...
They initially offered 7.9% for 72 months due to my current circumstances, which in all honesty is probably fair in any other situation. Excellent credit but no job, because I'm moving to Montana in a month to finish my degree. I brought up the special rates, and they eventually came back...
Actually just made my down payment at the Autonation on Bryant Irving yesterday. Nice enough folk. Went in to try and get ahead on the paperwork, ended up completing it and talking down my interest rate and ford financing. Basically when it arrives, presumably on the 6th as it is already in...
It feels bad, but any news is good news at this point. I had a similar thing. My build was pushed back a week, but that new week ended up being the week the plant was shut down. These littles delays hurt. But now I'm finally shipped and it's on it's way to me scheduled to arrive by the 5th of...
Mine was built today, 16 Nov, and expected to deliver 29 Nov-05Dec. So if that can be trusted, which is debatable, 2-3 weeks from date built. For the sake of your stress, I would just assume 4-6 weeks and not think about it. My vehicle started production and got it's little check mark 11 Nov.
Same situation, except I got 11/11 in production but nothing that says "built." I do have all the computer codes that mean it has been "built", so maybe Monday they have to add the finishing touches or the Spray-in bed liner.
Congratulations to you though!
Are you 4k Tow package? I believe they upgraded everyone who was front wheel drive 4k tow to awd. Shouldn't cost you anything.

You could probably try with your dealer, but I'm not much of a negotiator myself. Think about it optimistically! You're putting someone's kid through college or helping pay rent! (Or a second yacht)
Still with you buddy. Bottom of my sticker says 10 NOV, so I don't think I got any updates today. My dealer has been equally useless in getting back to me on any information all week.
You should be able to start your Maverick with the "FordPass" App on your phone. Just not with the key fob. You'll still need to insert the key to drive off, but you can get it warmed up and running, from my understanding.
