Added some wheel well trim. Don't mind the dirty truck. Those areas were cleaned with alcohol first. These stick out 1/4" with the included VHB tape, or about the same as most low profile options.

Yes. I bought 1 roll ($38, and Made in USA) which is enough for all 4 wheels with the mudflaps on. Very easy to cut and install. Without mudflaps might require a second roll, as there was only 31" of molding left over with the mudflaps. A better mod if you already have the mudflaps. The mudflaps I used are Muslogy.

Looks good. But keep it secret where you got them or we all might copy you 😜
No secret. Imitation is a sign that my choice is liked. I honestly don't care for the wide flares, I just feel it's too much black plastic. Makes the wheels look smaller. I posted the link above.

Or that your taste is cheap enough :cwl: . I do like your mod, not a fan of flares so might consider this option.
Well that $100 saved did buy me a few other things, like this:

Keeping tabs to see if it stays stuck the first couple of months. Was pondering some "universal wheelarch trim" I saw on one of the cheapie chinese stores. I expect to head to the bush once in a while when I get my Mav and that means gravel roads. So I though some arch trim might keep the edges from getting chipped up. The one I was looking at though was more like "half a flare" thickness around the edge.

These moldings are made in the USA, with real 3M VHB tape. They can be pulled off and laid back down if a section is not straight, if done right away. They do stick very well once it sits in the heat. I have full confidence they will stay stuck. I will update on that later.

Nice, I like the look and it would likely be enough protection from small road debris to door dings.

Please do update in a few weeks/month.
I like how they look but would be afraid they'd come off in the car wash.
(Yep, I use a car wash. I also hired a kid to cut my lawn, but he doesn't wash cars).
;-)

I had a couple that cut my lawn after I moved out until I sold the house. Their company name was **** Power Washing and Lawn Care. So I asked them about power washing the house to get it ready for the market and they said "Oh the power washer broke so we don;t do that anymore." A couple weeks later they called and said their zero turn broke so they weren't cutting grass any longer. I don't think hey had what it takes to be self employed.
They should just get jobs.

Well, they passed the automatic car wash test, and high pressure blowers.
