I have been using the tracker, which sometimes works. LOL I have watched my 2022-2023 rollover progress.

Order Confirmed 11/14/2022 (this was also my re-order due to Velocity Blue being discontinued)
Scheduled Week Of 01/26/2023
In Production01/27/2023
Built 01/30/2023
Shipped 02/01/2023

The last email I recieved from Ford was 10/21/1922 when they moved my production date to the 12/19/2022 Limbo for rollover orders.
What's up with this lack of communication?

Oh, they communicate but itā€™s noting I want to head! Delays, Shortages, Constraints, Price Increasesā€¦

Bottom line, most communication ā€œshouldā€ come from the dealership, not Corp., at least thatā€™s what they keep telling me.

  1. Make sure your Ford Pass account is still set to receive emails. Ford will turn it off if you ignore their email to confirm you still want it on.
  2. At this point, it doesn't matter. I think the last thing you get from Ford is that it has shipped.

Always amazed that people expect Ford to send out e-mails constantly to tens of thousands of people. What are you expecting them to tell you that you donā€™t already know?

I think I see the problem. ;) Email didn't exist in 1922. You've clearly been waiting over 100 years for your Model T. I'm sorry to tell you that they are no longer in production.

Scheduling emails come regardless of weather you have a Ford Pass account. And I have onlyhad one for 1 week. They had no problem telling me I was re-scheduled 5 times last year. Not a peep since.
Correction I have had the account all along, I only downloaded the Ford App last week.

Congrats on being shipped! If itā€™s makes you feel any better, I havenā€™t received a single update email this whole time. Original order 11/2021 and rolled over with VIN, currently in production for over a week.
I confirmed with my salesperson that he had my email in there correctly and I verified with the order form that it was correct as well. (I donā€™t really trust that he went back in his system to confirm, but it was right on the form.)

Ford's current ordering system and infrastructure is built around the "old way" of business - with dealers that have hundreds or thousands of vehicles in inventory and 95% of customers buy dealer stock, with 5% or less making SPECIAL orders.

COVID and the Maverick changed all that.

Ford is catching up.

If you'd like more communication, you'll pay an increased vehicle cost.

Man, you have it nice! I have yet to receive even a first communication in 10 months of waiting from Ford Canada. If you think you're in the dark ages in the U.S, Ford Canada must be pre-stoneage.
