What was/is your wait time for your order?

Picked up my Mav this Wednesday afternoon but it was raining so I took a picture today.

It's a AWD Hybrid Lariat in Ruby Red, with 4K tow and sunroof. Started looking in September at the XLT, but with the Lux package and other options I wanted, it made more sense for my case to go for the Lariat. I joined the Mustang club in January to qualify for X-Plan pricing, and went with new Employee Pricing and was able to take delivery before it expires on July 7th. I was sweating after reading stories of trucks getting stuck in trainyards or delayed by recalls!

The wife likes the color, too. Came close to going for the Eruption Green - it also looks great in the sun.

Currently installing mods that were recommended here at the MTC. Today it was the tailgate assist, bumper cover plate, door tray inserts, and rear shock covers.

This will replace my 2014 Honda CR-V. It's not a bad car, but it's as exciting as a baloney sandwich. Going to have fun with the Mav with a camper trailer sometime next year.

Apparently the block heater issue that was holding up builds is resolved. Dealer tells me I'm scheduled for Aug 4... I'll believe it when I see it! XL Hybrid AWD 4k

Picking mine up literally today. Process started in April just as employee pricing started. Delivered in late June. See progression here. And good luck to you! Waiting was very painful but once the build started things moved along pretty well.

Well I will have to take back what I said about them holding things up. But I won't take back what I said about the flaky web site for tracking the orders. Looks like they updated my orders status on the web site today. Now looks like it shipped on 6/7 the same day as it was built. Estimating Delivery between 6/27-7/3.

Wow. Nice. Shipped the same day that it was built. My order just updated to built today. I'm hoping to have the same as you and that it ships today or tomorrow. Hopefully the transit time from Mexico has improved and it is here in a week or so.

The train shuffle is like a shell game I think... You never know what is going to happen once it "ships". My delivery window has all of next week blocked off. I am just hoping it doesn't get delayed due to the promotions expiring. Just holding my breath at the moment. Dealer sales rep has been advised of the timing and the expiration on these offers. He says he will see what can be done to expedite things as soon as it arrives so that we get in under the wire. We will see.

Loving the ride! Looked even better in real life. These are so rare by me that I never saw this color before choosing it to be built. Very happy with it 52 miles in. LoL.

Update: just found out there was a 'mistake' and my truck was sold back in March right after delivery. Why is it so hard to buy a truck from a Ford dealer? Guess I'm right back to putting in a fresh order and waiting another 9 months.

Credit where it's due: the dealer did sell my truck in March, but they had a similar one on hand. It was missing some add-ons that we had ordered, but it had the luxury package that we didn't. They ended up selling it for the same price. I'll drop in a bedrug and some racks, and we'll be good to go.

Yeah, we're very grateful. I almost can't blame the dealer, because Mavericks are so overpriced here. It's 40K+ for a new XLT, and people are still lining up. I sold our 2023 XLT for 30K, and I was getting bombarded with messages. I guess I could have tried for more, but I was very happy getting that much.

Train shuffle is a crap shoot. My first XLT took 17 months to build and I stopped in to see the dealer every week. It took over 4 weeks to ship by train which drove me (and plenty of other guys waiting) a little crazy. In the meantime I ordered a Lariat which took 7 months to build and less than one week to ship.

Congrats. From the last update on orders it sounded like most of the Maverick orders are being held up at the moment due to constraints. This is good news that some of the orders are still getting scheduled.

My order was supposed to get delivered this week, but Ford slid the delivery date out to 7/7 today. Ironically that is when the cash promotions end. So it looks like the promotion incentive is going to expire before I can close the deal. Pretty sad, ordered in April and couldn't get the truck before the promotions ended. I have a email off to Ford about this to see what they say and pinged my sales rep at the dealership.

I'm a bit shocked TBH - block heater, AWD, hybrid. All constraint red flags!
