Well I will have to take back what I said about them holding things up. But I won't take back what I said about the flaky web site for tracking the orders. Looks like they updated my orders status on the web site today. Now looks like it shipped on 6/7 the same day as it was built. Estimating Delivery between 6/27-7/3.

We are probably on the same train. I just now received the email from Ford that the truck was built and shipped. Already fired off the email to the dealer to let them know and to remind them of my request NOT to put their badging/dealership stuff on my truck. That really irritates me! LOL

As of today, the dealer claims it is still in transport. The order no longer shows up in the "Track my order system." Called Ford corporate, and they said it was delivered on 3/15 to the dealer. Nobody seems to know what is actually going on.

Update: just found out there was a 'mistake' and my truck was sold back in March right after delivery. Why is it so hard to buy a truck from a Ford dealer? Guess I'm right back to putting in a fresh order and waiting another 9 months.

That is ridiculous! I really feel like the dealers are so short-term money flow oriented. They don't care if you never come back to buy another car or if you tell everyone how horrible they were. They just don't care.

Make sure to complain to corporate.

I ran into a similar problem back in 2023 with my Maverick. They just tried to bully me out the door so they could flip it for more money. So I switched to another dealer for my wife's order last fall. These guys didn't even bother bullying me, they just sold it right out from under me while claiming that it was 'held up at the shipping port.' At this point, I'm debating whether this truck is even worth the bother.

Here we are as of today. The savvy interneter will notice that the estimated delivery window closed yesterday and yet, delivery has still not happened. Dealers say it is sitting 48 minutes away in the rail yard waiting to be trucked to the dealership with an updated ETA of 6/8-6/14. Still, I wait...

No news on mine. Ordered second week of February. Got one "we're still working on it" order update in April (that didn't actually have any updated information), but that's all. Hoping it'll be soon, as the latest Long MacArthur video no longer mentioned any constraints on the AWD!

Just got a note from my dealer this afternoon that my truck "arrived to the Wilmington [Delaware] ramp at 2PM today" with an ETA 6/14 to 6/20. He said he won't get any more updates until it rolls into his lot.

I forgot to ask him what "arrived at the ramp" meant. A quick google search says the railcar got to the rail station and expect 2-3 days to transfer to a hauler. Further searches showed forum posts (e.g., here at MTC, Bronco) that reported trucks waiting at railyards for weeks!

112 days from order to delivery, 25 from build date, 22 in shipping to northern Virginia.

Should hear from my dealer this morning and hope to take delivery this afternoon! Rain is predicted for the next few days, so may not post obligatory pictures until Friday.
