Not sure I believe any of this................................................
I've seen a couple of other YouTube variations with the same information, although it seemed they were using 2025 specs on some of the features like the hybrid AWD and the towing increased to 4k. We will have to wait and see.

There are so many errors in that video, an example is the video mentions 2025 standard 1500lb tow capacity, its 2000lb. Roll down windows on an XL and steel wheels on a XLT would be a joke !

I'm having a hard time believing this. Not only because it's speculative, but very rarely do manufacturers lower prices instead of raising them. There's no way that can happen in a day of high inflation and on again/off again tariffs. Even if production was shifted here, they would have to raise prices in order to supplement the labor cost for retooling the factory and the higher wages U.S. employees make as oppose to Mexican employees.

They also got one of the stats wrong. They mentioned the FWD version of the Lobo would be discontinued since "nobody was buying them." The thing is, there was never a FWD Lobo in the first place. They were standard AWD from the get-go. So, if they can't even get that right, then I have a hard time believing their other claims.

Also, I believe they are converting the USA factory that was mentioned, into production of the new midsize 2027 EV truck

So XL will come with crank windows, manual locks, no a/c, vinyl floor, extra steel wheels and drop the price by $250.

I'm just joking.
Many a jest is said in truth. Not my style, but many people are wanting a bare bones, no frills, work truck that gets terrific gas mileage at an unbeatable price. Hope this new Maverick will meet their needs.

I mean, F-150 XL's had crank windows, manual locks, and vinyl flooring as standard equipment until 2023. I can't imagine they were popular configurations.

I still remember seeing a smokin' deal of a Nissan Frontier base model. It was an unsold 2014 and I looked at it in early 2016. As it turned out, it was such a base model that it didn't have A/C, and 2014 was the last year that A/C was technically optional.

The sales guy called me two months later saying that they'd give me an even better deal since apparently I was the only one to ever be remotely interested after finding out it didn't have A/C.

I don't believe anything in this video since they show a F150 being assembled when they discuss the power train changes. Every shot of assembly was a body on frame truck. Also crank windows will now require queing 2 distinct rear doors for the line which will eventually cause issues with the wrong door being installed on an xlt and up trim. Added cost to stock 2 different types of rear doors. Adding the mounting points to ALL rear doors made for both systems.
