Found elsewhere that they're Michelin primacy a/sI'd like to know as well. I ordered a Lariat Lux hybrid.
I have hybrid First Edition which has Michelin Primacy A/S OEM FORD 8.5/32" tread shows on Michelin site 55,000 miles recommended rotation 4-6k miles. Michelin Primacy A/S after market (non OEM version) shows 10/32" tread and has longer mileage warranty which I don't remember how much +10,000?). Michelin makes this tire in 15 or more OEM versions probably differing in tread pattern, tread composition, +?,?,?I'd like to know as well. I ordered a Lariat Lux hybrid.
I guess I should have figured OEM versions wouldn't be quite the same as aftermarket. Interesting about the different rotation period. Ford manual says 10,000 miles generally.I have hybrid First Edition which has Michelin Primacy A/S OEM FORD 8.5/32" tread shows on Michelin site 55,000 miles recommended rotation 4-6k miles. I have had a 2012 Honda crv and it eats tires tried everything but rotation. Got 24k on oem. Put 90k warranty Michelin got 42k. Got mileage adjustment forget what I put on but rotated every 5-6k and got 54-56k on 65k tire. NOTE that on the short wheel base suv vehicles that are fwd and much heavier in front most tire warranties state that if different size tires are on front and back their warranty will be cut in half. This is because different size tires wear faster. In my crv the road noise increases noticably in 6-6.5k miles if not rotated 5-5.5. the maverick is 10" longer wheelbase than my crv but it "feels" like a car. Last week at 7,600 miles I heard my tires so I took it in today for oil, filter, and rotation plus other stuff. Also note that tire company mileage is based on use down to 2/32" tread and I will replace tires at 3.5/32" or so. You might say I throw 18-20% of my tread warranty away but right dealer will prorate the 1.5/32" tread.I guess I should have figured OEM versions wouldn't be quite the same as aftermarket. Forgot to say my local Ford said today that if I changed oil and filter tire rotation was $6 and they recommend at 5k miles (of course)!I guess I should have figured OEM versions wouldn't be quite the same as aftermarket.
