I know there's another manual thread but it's more of a demographic survey.

I don't want to read the thing. Is there a Coles Notes version

Learn anything you wouldn't have known without reading it?

Honestly it is worth at least skimming through. I have not read it cover to cover in part because I need to see, for instance, the dash screen while playing with it to really grasp how it all works.

But there are some surprises in there, like the fact that the wheel lug nuts have to be tightened much more than usual. Or the location of the jacking points. Or the fact that you have to pull the hood release TWICE to get the hood to unlatch.

It's a pdf, just download it and read it.

I read the first few pages and learned that I have no use for MyKey. Would prefer not to slog on. Looking for useful info.

pulling the hood release twice is good info

Ok I read another couple pages. Apparently if my dog is in the truck I need to manually change the freaking alarm settings to Perimeter only before getting out. That's a pain in the azz

Crap, I'm going to have to tape up the interior sensors. My dog is literally always in the truck unless its baking hot and he will trigger the alarm unless I switch off interior sensors every time I get out.

Thats going to be even more annoying than the start-stop system on the EB

anyone have a pic of the interior sensors?

New here but was surprised to see that AWD (non FX4) is not built for off road. Says dirt roads that are level similar to paved roads. A warranty killer!
what does it say about FX4 equipped? You really not getting anything that should change that.
