Good to hear the Ford implementation is decent. I have found the Subaru implementation (even in my ~1st generation Eyesight equipped 2016 Crosstrek) to be very nice.

Order converted to Lariat version to accommodate this option. Sigh. Not as cheap as I would have liked now. Seems like there is always that one feature you just can't live without that makes you have to get that extra package that kicks the price up past what you wanted, on every new car I have ever bought.
Well, the price will never go down. If anything, the first year will be least expensive ever.

In 2019 I bought a new first model year Ranger Supercrew XLT FX4. I opted for the high level XLT package at the time to get heated seats...a blessing when my back gets wrenched. When I was doing the Build&Price for the Maverick I picked the Lariat Lux Hybrid which topped out in the low 30's; I wanted heated seats, heated wheel, and adaptive cruise. I then went to the Ranger Build&Price to see how close to a Ranger it had gotten and I was surprised that the 2021 Ranger is about $3k more than the 2019 I bought for the same level of content. It was not even a Lariat and it was carrying an MSRP over $41k...for a Ranger! A similarly optioned F150 is over $50k!

I have a feeling that the 2023 Maverick and 2024 Maverick will be following the same trend! So, you configured it to be more than you thought but in 2023 you may figure you were lucky you got it then and did not wait!

Yes; however, not everyone likes ACC. Some people feel that a vehicle with adaptive cruise does not slow down or stop a vehicle rapidly enough and/or doesn’t start to slow the vehicle soon enough. I have ACC in one of my vehicles and very much like it. I use it frequently for Interstate driving. On the other hand, my wife dislikes it. Honestly, I override ACC from time to time by pressing on the break. I always remember I am in charge and not the technology.
