Sorry I tried searching for this but I could not find an answer

If anyone has gotten an XLT recently then what keys did you get with it?

I am picking mine up tomorrow and the only options it has are the Lux Package and CP360 if that makes a difference. I do not have the remote start option.

There were old posts about getting a depopulated key but I recall that might not have happened so the old posts were confusing to me.

My 22 XLT has lux and 360. And my remote has remote start. I would think with those options a 23 will be the same for the remote. I've heard of some people only getting one remote in 22 not sure about 23.

Ford reserves the right to give you one full key and one basic key. That is a provision in case they are unable to source parts in the future. They have not announced that they are moving forward with that at this time, as far as we are aware.

So, should be two full keys. XL and XLT get the flip keys, Lariat gets the Intelligent Access fobs with push-button start.

That is what I read... U can still remote start from the app/phone... But not from the key...

I paid for the remote start for the keys... And I have remote started from the keys... But to be honest about 85% of the time I remote start I do it from the phone...
Have to see if I will use them differently in the summer didn't get the truck till the beginning of this February

I have a 23 XLT eco with Lux . The 23 lux did not have remote start included I ordered remote start as a standalone .I used it a lot in the winter to start but never used the phone to start it . I received 2 keys with remote on both . I think its well worth the extra money .

I dislike remote started vehicles at my rural farm. Too many loose cats, and they don't stand a chance vs a remote start. Had one up in a BEV vehicle one time, fortunately it got out after a few feet of motion. No belts/fans in a BEV.

Yes that seems to happen more than you think. My son had one and also a coworker. And they don't live in an area with many cats. Both felt bad as it may have been someone's pet.

That reminds me of the key for my 2000 VW Passat. The old Flip Blade...

I just got my Lariat Mav lux this past Saturday and both my fobs do not have auto start on them. I did speak to them about it today and they will look into it.

Question: Did you order the remote start option? It was standard on Lariat Lux in 2022, but became a stand alone option for 2023 models.

I do not remember being a stand alone item when I placed my order. I will look at my paperwork later today if that’s the case. Weird thing, I do remember a topic here that talked about Ford only issuing one remote for auto start and other spare will be without the auto start function due to the chip shortage. Does anyone remember seeing that thread?
