I literally scoured those pics for 5 mins before I saw it. Wouldnt have been a problem if they didnt black everything. I would have prefered chrome bumpers. I have black bumpers on my 96 Bronco but only because I'm cheap. I wont say what you did just so others can guess too. But it looks fine to me as long as things dont fade weird.

For those who can't see it, he added a black line to cover the bottom of the painted tailgate (right below the AWD badge all the way across.

All I can see is you're attempting to level out the lower tail gate contrast. Would look ok but it's no big deal either way...I'm leaving factory as much as I can...my tricking out ride days are over lol..

I use to have Low rider,,, a Ram 50 with 8 15" woofers in the back with a camper top.. Fish tank in the center of it for car shows.... It was fun but Give me a factory ride now lol...for longevity.




I'm sure you can get a vinyl wrap for that instead of tape.

I agree, there was something off everytime I saw the back of a Mav. Looked narrower than front view to me. Now I see its the painted visual height cutoff on sides by black bumper. Your solution is better proportionally with straight line across, matching top of tailgate. I may do this also.
