Nice, thanks! Now I just gotta figure out how to install an inverter without blowing up my car. 😬
I believe there have been some DIY inverter threads. I rarely use the outlet, charging dewalt batteries has been it so far when I'm away from the house working on somethig

I would be really interested in how you did that 120V 400A set up.

Idea came from another member, just removed the panel that held the outlet, light, and switch, and put the outlet in the back of a cubby I bought. Let me find the post

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...bed-cubby-with-ac-outlet-on-the-inside.16955/

after I seen what the dirt, salt, and water from the road does to the back of the taillights without a cubby, I knew I wanted one there. hardest part was getting the outlet connection plugged back in, there's not much slack in the wiring for the outlet. end up losing the light, but I re-used the factory wiring and switch to run lights I installed on each side of the bed.

I dont have the 400W plug in the back☹. Didnt order that package. I saw where somebody added it in using parts from Nissan and Dodge pickups. I thought this was that mod. I plan to make a shield for under there out of plastic because I will be doing a borla exhaust that exits under the rear bumper

not having a place other than the driveway to work on the truck, the cubby was a better option for me than the shield that has been posted about
