Ok. Most of us here are either getting their Maverick built or have theirs. With that is an update on your insurance policy. I wonder who has the best rates, and over all is really good? I have Progressive for the past 9 years or so, and switched from Geico. I found it better for us. Progressive gives me a few hundred dollars less if I pay in full for the 6 month policy. We have 5 adult drivers insured for five cars (2003 ford f 150, 2006 Dodge Durango, 2007 Saturn Sky, 1986 Suzuki Samuri, and a Hyundai Accent, I forget the year but I think 2012)…. Anyway, great drivers and safe. I was paying around $1200 for the six months, but last term increased to around $1212 to $1368. Ouch. So basically $228 monthly. Keep in mind it would’ve been more, but paying in full helped significantly.

So here’s the question, have any of you found a great rated insurance that’s been great for you and the Maverick? All the insurance companies talk about saving you money by switching. Have any of you experienced this especially with your Maverick added? Is there a “ hidden gem “ out there insurance company nobody talks about ? Thanks for whatever input you give!

Car insurance is ever-changing. Shop around 5-6 providers for an apples-apples comparison and go with the best price. But, check again every couple years. The "cheap" provider that I went with is never the cheapest a couple years later. Make sure you review your policies and are only buying things that you need.

For me, I like to raise the deductibles high as I'm not going to file a claim for something small anyways. I also have multiple vehicles, so I drop the rental coverage.

I'll be insurance shopping for my Maverick when its delivered in a couple weeks. Often, there is a solid discount if you are able to get your homeowner's/renter's insurance through the same provider.
