What are these rubber pieces covering in the bed?

While I'm on the topic of the bed from my other post earlier tonight, anyone know what these rubber pieces are covering in the bed? They seem to be loosely glued in so I'm afraid to just pull them off

For the ones closer to the cab, some tonneau covers have drain hoses that go into those holes.

I think those closer to tailgate are for a bedlighting accessory.

You can route bed lighting and other cables through them, they're just grommets and they shouldn't be glued in, just pressed in.

For your own protection, it covers the metal joints.

Picture that show tube going to it looks to be a drain just in case the bed cover takes on water. I had a 2021 Ranger that had them going down to holes in front of bed. It had a line-x trifold bed cover. Leaked like crazy.
