What are people using for wireless CarPlay connect?

I have that one as well, bought off eBay. I wrapped it in heat shrink tubing and a small amount of electrical tape to black out the RGB. Not sure what the fascination is with RGB all electronics from overseas now have it everywhere.

The cover easily pops off will probably take a razor and cut the trace feeding the LEDs.

Interesting gonna try that.

I actually plan on taking the entire USB hub it mounts to and placing that inside the trim, and putting a new just USB power plug on the outside. So it will be completely gone from sight.

I bought a right-angle USB-C adapter and hid the CarPlay adapter behind the trim panel. Wrapped it in some foam to keep it from rattling. Almost invisible.
