Since we’re getting our trucks brand new there is one thing we can do to be sure to get our shine off to a great start
DO NOT LET THE DEALER WASH YOU TRUCK- EVER!!!! The dealers wash boys use the same bucket until it is literally filthy with grit, sand, pollen, railroad iron, etc. And they don’t wash the buckets out they just dump and refill. That bucket grunge is guaranteed to put swirls in your paint no matter what shampoo they use. And if they use sponges…Lord forbid!,…the swirls will require paint correction to get back to the factory smoothness.
Look up on YouTube how to do a 2 or 3 bucket wash with the right sequence and the right tools to minimize leaving anything on your paint other than paint. Once you learn the multi bucket method you can stop adding to the problem of swirls and have a much easier time getting closer to that deep mirror shine.
