I got a VIN a few weeks ago! Was not expecting one on my 11/11/21 order. Then I got a build week of 10/17. Then a couple weeks ago I got a build DAY of 10/22. This is going great, I thought, so I kept my mouth shut to keep from jinxing it. Well I called today and now I'm given a build week of 10/31. Narts.

Yeah for real. Everyone saying if you get a VIN, you get a 22. Well it never occured to me that you could get a 22 in 25. Lol

I have a build date of 11/14. Right when they were supposed to switch the line to '23s. (I imagine that's changed too)
I got the line "if you have a VIN you're getting a '22". I asked the salesmen and manager if there was a guarantee for that and they just smiled .

My order date was 12-15-21. I got my VIN back in Mid-July, and also build date of 8/29 directly from my salesman. Ford slipped out my build week 3 times to eventually week of Oct 3rd- but they sent me an email the week before each time. I didn't get another email this time and waited for the 3rd and 4th to pass...

then texted my salesman to see if he had any updates and he said it was built and sent to bodyshop on his reports. Today I see Ford has marked mine Built and ready for shipping on the tracking page. I don't trust the Ford call center or chat as much as my salesman and Ford tracker and official emails. YMMV.
