Got build email but they are building it wrong

I received my build email a few weeks ago with vin number. I noticed on Saturday that it was in production on 4/29 and then was able to pull up the window sticker. It shows an EcoBoost but I ordered a hybrid ( in August). I am now concerned that they are building the wrong truck. Any thoughts?

All other items, color and trim correct?. Your tracking screen which was available after you received your VIN should show hybrid vs EB on the bottom of the screen. You might want to check that and see if says EB. Check with your dealer. Ask for the DORA, if you do not have it. If you have a signed purchase agreement, the total cost should not include the EB option when it was signed. Do not know what your recourse may be, but if I took the truck, I would not pay for the EB option if it is not on your sales agreement. Hopefully this can be straightened out. Good Luck!

On mine there was some weird thing where the dealer might have used the same order number and when I contacted Ford they had an XLT Eco that was being built for the same dealer that wasn’t mine (Mine is now built as ordered). If all the options and color are the same as you ordered though, may be a crappy situation on your hands.

After talking to the dealership it turns out that they changed my order back in October just to see if that would speed up my order (at my request). It didn’t help and they changed it back, but the Ford system never changed back to hybrid. Oh well, so now I am getting an EcoBoost instead. I may drive it until I can order a 23 hybrid.

They may have tried to switch your order back to hybrid after the November date closing sales of the hybrid....
