So much appreciation to @Bwicka
You found that our Tremors, and possibly other models of Maverick have a issue with where the ECM [computer] is located.
If you want to off road, Mud, snow, trail ride, puddle jump, screw around water or in general the ECM is real low. It behind the wheel liner behind the bumper.
It's a real bad place for rubbing and water . But there is a solution. Unplug all the connections, pull out all the clips holding the wire loom to the various places. You will also need to unplug the transmission clips and re route the up towards the airbox.
[Removing the complete airbox will assist you with clearance and fewer curse words.]
But reconnect, the wires. You have to fashion the mount plate to fit top of your fuse box. I trimmed off a few of the out laying attachments that arent need anymore. I mounted the plate to the inner fender. I also moved the horns to the top of the bracket and to one of the open holes with a nut cert on it.
I spaced it with my homemade braket 1.5 inches above the fuse box.
Have at it.
