A couple of years ago I bought a wonderful used 2022 Lariat first edition 2.0 liter awd in area 51 color. Loved it joined this forum' a year later this sickness i have made me trade for a 2025 Bronco sport Badlands in desert sand color. After about 9 months I lost my mind again and traded it on a 2025 XLT hybrid Awd in Azure Gray which looks a lot like the area 51 on my first maverick. I've already ordered a bed cover, all weather floormats and a few other things. So i'm back again in this great forum and I'm going to try to stay a few years this time.

Welcome back brother! Just out of curiosity, what made you trade in for the Bronco, and, why did you want rid of it? Also, did you consider any other options before coming back to a Maverick? I do like those 25 XLT AWD (4k tow) Mavericks. If I were to get rid of this one, that is the exact one I would get, although the white color!

The Maverick in your thumbnail pic looks blue. Is that Azure Gray?

I bought a first run Shadow Black Bronco Sport Base model in December 2020. Only because the Maverick was not out yet.

Put 57,000 miles on it and waited till most of the bugs got worked out on the Mavericks.
Traded it in on 12/31/2024 for my 2024 AWD Eco Lariat.
Right before the 2025’s $5,000 price increase. I paid $36,000 :XD
They seem to have gotten all the bugs out.
Not a single recall, not a single problem, so far.
We called that a, ‘Cream Puff’ back in the day.
Yeah used to sell used cars on a buy here pay here lot a buddy and I owned.

The Bronco Sport was nice. The little 3 banger turbo with its 190 HP was adequate.
But it was a first run.
Four recalls and the rear end detonated at 37,000 miles, I had no expense in its replacement. Power train ya know.

My Maverick was worth the wait. It’s a keeper.
The Turbo lets me have a little fun, I wanted a little fun, I needed a little fun,
The 2.0 Eco is just plain Funner. :’P

I will trade it in on a new one before my extended warranty runs out and before my added sixty dollars a year insurance add on runs out at five years from new.
This annual $60 add on gets me a new never titled Maverick at the current cost if I total it out. Like in a 30 mph rear end thump.
I don’t like unibodies but I like the benefits and tolerate the short comings.

Welcome back. That's the problem the grass always looks greener. Glad you are back and hope you realized a Ford Maverick is hard to beat. The unfortunate is the recalls but Ford or the Maverick is not alone, many of the automakers are dealing with issues which is unfortunate for the consumer.

I do have a question though. Being on the forum in the past and knowing we all like the pictures. Why did you not attach a picture or pictures?

First of all, once a member, always a member. We all go through some bad times in our lives from health, personal, and hard times itself. I'm glad that your problem is going away, and you're ready to get back on track. Welcome home!

The first one was my 22 Lariat first edition, then my 2025 Bronco Sport and my new 2025 XLT awd hybrid. I loved all of them and would have been happy with any in the long run. I hope to keep this one for awhile. The 22 was area 51 and the XLT is Azure Grey Metallic but from a distance they look very close to me. I thought the XLT was Blue till you get up close. Everybody that see's my new truck has said I thought you got your old truck back.
