I have a 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid, and the engine light came on yellow. The dealer's diagnosis was that the Exhaust Heat Exchanger went bad at about 6600 miles. It was a non-critical engine issue, so I could drive it until the back-ordered part came in.
Of course, it's covered under warranty, but it shouldn't have gone bad this soon!
The part just came in on Friday, so I have it now at the dealer, and they say it will take all day to repair it
Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, it was a minor inconvenience to drop it off and pick it up later that day. If it's that big a deal to you, you should get out of it now and buy something else.

I think he was saying , did any others had a problem with the heat exchanger, not the dealership needing it for the day. ???

Sorry for the way my reply sounded. I guess i was feeling a little snarky yesterday. We did have the heat exchanger done at about 20,000 miles. There is also a customer satisfaction program 26N04 for the exhaust gas heat recovery system that shows up on our FordPass.
