I have a 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid, and the engine light came on yellow. The dealer's diagnosis was that the Exhaust Heat Exchanger went bad at about 6600 miles. It was a non-critical engine issue, so I could drive it until the back-ordered part came in.
Of course, it's covered under warranty...
I use only BP/Amoco gasoline
On 89-octane driving in the city, I get 40+mpg and on 87-octane I only get 34-35 mpg driving in the same city
So, it's worth the extra 5 cents per gallon
Thanks!
I just filled it up with 87 octane (regular) to see if I'll see if I get any difference in the mpg. Now I'm getting 40-42 mpg in the city driving.
I use BP gasoline and I presently use 91-grade (mid-grade)
They have 3 grades 89 regular- 91 mid-grade and 93 premium
I would like to start using regular 89 grade (10cents cheaper)
I ordered my 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid on August 7th and took delivery on January 7th (exactly five months later). The dealer told me it would take 3-5 months.
I took delivery of my 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat—Hybrid yesterday, 1/07/25, here in Palm Bay, Florida; exactly five months to the day from the time I ordered it on August 7th, 2024. Several extra things that I will need to get used to.
