WARRANTY START DATE WRONG!!

Hello Everyone!-Happy New year!! I just noticed that on my FORDPASS app and online account shows my Warranty start date 12-15-21, this is the date on the window sticker, shipped and received 12-17-21, sold/purchased date 12-21-21. The date of my warranty should be 12-21-21 start date with 19 miles being added to end of that warranty I.E. 36,019 and 12-21-24. I am wondering if the dealer did something to put the vehicle in-service?? I have never had this on any other vehicle, co., mfg... anyone have insight? thanks gabe

Most likely an app issue. You have paper work showing you bought it at 19 miles and on the 21st. I understand wanting it fixed but I wouldn’t stress over it.

Yeah, I was thinking the same until I Googled "six days".

Right! It’s petty and not a large amount of time….except and in my own experience, vehicles in the past those days/miles made the difference of having to fix something myself ha warranty. It’s something to watch for and I’m sure it’s simply fixed! As mentioned, I have all the legal paperwork of sale date and info.

I had a transmission replaced 3 miles before the warranty went out on my 2008 Nissan Altima. I was happy it picked that day to break.

Not that I am currently aware of? I called them on 12/21 to make sure they had mavericks, they had two new ones just delivered 12/17, I got specs on phone of the one I got, they ran the paperwork, I went and signed and took it home, all on the same day 12/21/21. The window sticker date says 12/15/21. I have pasted the window sticker in. But nothing went down or communicated until 12/21z

You definitely want to resolve this. You may find you that you actually bought a "used" vehicle. I've bought service loaners in the past. I was able to claim the new car rebates, but the warranty clock had started from the day the dealership declared them service loaners.

Warranty stars from the time you take possession of the vehicle. I bought my 2018 Mustang Oct 2018. Build date was Dec 2017. Warranty started the day I bought the car.
