Flash. I think that the battery problems after the up-dates were from:
On the Premise the vehicle is running during updating.
The process is running down and frying the battery+ (MORE).
It never recovers. Mine was dead, the next day, but battery charger brought me back.
My battery system has been spotted since birth, hence the battery charger and NOCO on 24 hour call. Maybe maybe not?
