Does Ford charge all dealers the same price for the ESPs? I got a quote from Granger as I am considering it due to the issues with deep sleep, CV joints, electronics, cameras, etc. Since I had a good dealer experience, I emailed my saleswoman to see if they could beat Granger, giving them my business. The best they could do was $100 more! I realize this is a "mark-up" item in the showroom, but don't understand why they would not at least meet Granger's price - unless they would actually be losing money - which I assume Granger is not.

Very few Mavericks are out of original warranty unless you have over 36K miles. The warranty from Granger, is the same one you would get from your dealer. Granger, and Flood, cornered the market on warrantys, so they make a profit on volume. If the local dealer gave it to you for less then they get from other buyers, the word would get out, so they won't match Granger.

Appears cost goes up each year as you approach the 3year/36,000 mile mark.
Also depends on which ESP level you choose; the first 3 years/36,000 miles are already covered, so if you purchase a 8 year/100,000 plan, in reality you're getting 5 years/64,000 for your money ~~~ so if you buy it at say 8 months/8000 miles it's gonna cost less than waiting until 33 months/33,000 mark.
Depends on your financial situation~~~ pay less sooner, pay more later. But definitely it appears beneficial to get the extra Headlight/lights add-on~~~ I've heard that a repair on that can be over $1,000

Very few Mavericks are out of original warranty unless you have over 36K miles...

And the Hybrid has 8/100k warranty on the Hybrid stuff.

That's where you need to read the "fine print" before you purchase the warranty.

The ESP plan offers first day rental where Ford will pay up to $40 per day for up to 10 days for $35 extra. When added to the first day rental for an additional $110, the car rental amount Ford will pay for is raised to $60 per day for 10 days.
