Not sure if this thread is still live but here goes.

We ordered a Lariat Hybrid, in white with a sunroof, in January from them. They called this week with an offer on a cancellation of the exact car except it had the console vault. I was a little surprised at the quick turn around and we scrambled to get the money in hand. When we went there, we told them we didn't want the vault (which is a $390 dealer installed option). They wouldn't drop it off the price even tho it hadn't been installed. So we ended up passing --maybe a mistake since we could have sold the uninstalled vault and recouped probably a 150-200. Oh well, someone else got a nice vehicle from our hesitation

It's good to hear that they are still calling other orderers with similar trucks that come up. If they call me with a similar truck in the coming weeks, I'll pass because my hybrid XLT Lux is scheduled for 2 weeks from now.

Finally picked mine up yesterday! Smooth sailing after a year and a half of waiting. It was nice being able to meet Mariano in person after all this time.

One thing I noticed is that they offered the Ford Premium extended warranty at almost 3 times the price I can get it through Granger. (Luckily, I also have a non-CA address I can use to get it from them...)

congrats! they offered me the warranty at a crazy price, but i said “that’s a crazy price”. i said there was no more money in the till, more than once. some buttons were clicked and bing bang boom, the price became magically so so much less.

Just picked up my truck from them today. In and out in 2 hours. MSRP with no markups. Great Dealer.

P.S. California roads decided to chip my windshield on the way home. So aggravating.

Well we just bought a '22 Maverick Hybrid Lariat, hot pepper red, 25k miles. And the same day Walnut Creek texted to tell us our order arrived. So if anyone is looking for a hybrid with a sunroof, reach out to them. This might be a good day for both of us!

I knew, but I got a great deal on the used one. I prefer to buy used vehicles and now it seems that Maverick used prices are coming back to earth. So it all made sense.

I'd like to hear more about what the Finance team tries to sell as add-on and the quote prices.

What interest rate are you getting quoted?

I am afraid I can't comment on rates as I got mine 1 year ago and the numbers do not apply. I went in with my own finances and I would definitely warn them if you are doing that as it might lengthen your day.

As far as add ons, of course they want to sell you a warranty, i just kept saying no until they offered a number I was comfortable with that was a value for the coverage.

If you have a Costco membership, mention it when discussing warranty price. They asked if I had a Costco membership and knocked 50% off the warranty. I wasn't going to get the warranty until I learned about the Costco discount.
