Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I got it back into shape pretty easily--under an hour of work. It is not perfect, but then it also didn't cost $4k. I actually used my heat gun which is you are not careful, I found out, will melt the plastic pretty quickly. So I simply melted around...
Some nice person in our neighborhood banged into our parked Mav and didn't bother to leave a note. I got an estimate from a local body shop--$4k!! (I am in the SF bay area where millionaires are "middle class"). So I am thinking of replacing the plastic bumper myself and just doing a little...
Of course, I spoke too soon. After writing this I noticed that the keyless entry wasn't working on the passenger side. Took it to the dealer and they figured out the 12v battery was low. When it is depleted, apparently, it reduces unnecessary functions like keyless entry on the passenger side...
We just returned from a month-long trip and left our 22 hybrid parked the whole time without a battery minder or anything similar. Started right up.

And is it now possible for someone other than the dealer to reprogram the codes so if someone has that original lost fob, it can no longer be used?
thanks to anyone who...
Well we just bought a '22 Maverick Hybrid Lariat, hot pepper red, 25k miles. And the same day Walnut Creek texted to tell us our order arrived. So if anyone is looking for a hybrid with a sunroof, reach out to them. This might be a good day for both of us!
Just got a scheduled week of 3/18/24 and a vin.
Ford seems to be cranking them out.
I've also noticed more dealers around here have Mavericks on their lot. And are not charging above msrp (or saying they will bargain down their adm).
Not sure if this thread is still live but here goes.
We ordered a Lariat Hybrid, in white with a sunroof, in January from them. They called this week with an offer on a cancellation of the exact car except it had the console vault. I was a little surprised at the quick turn around and we...
That is interesting. Car gurus says the price of used Mavericks is substantially down.
