Waiting on ship date........

First time poster, long time reader. Well my Mav FINALLY got built on 5/27 but hasn't shipped yet. The email that notified me of the truck being built said it had an estimated arrival date of JULY 19th to the 26th. Am i just being irrational in thinking that 2 months is a long time to ship? Does anyone have similar stories or experiences and can maybe shed a little light for me? Cactus Grey EB XLT.

That depends on the destination. My delivery was 3-4 weeks to Cleveland Ohio.

Mine was built 5/24 and my email said June 18-24. Dealer expects it will be longer than that. I am near Chicago.

In a similar situation. Built 6/1 with a secondary status today of "released", which the rep couldn't define. Expected delivery July 5 - 17 - Raleigh, NC. I'm hopeful but not holding my breath.

I asked what "RELEASED" meant and was told that it means "NO LONGER AT THE FACTORY".

My was built May 25th with estimate of July 7th-13th delivery to Sandy Springs Ga. Still waiting for shipped notification. Ordered mid October, Lariat Lux FX4 so hoping the "chips are in" and it can be released.

Seems reasonable for some locations. Mine was 3-4 week estimate which will be passed thursday. been sitting on a train 2 hours away for nearly 3 weeks. Then add convoy delays. Its certainly a long wait but after 10+ months seems like nothing.

No scientific polling, but it appears from what I am seeing on this forum is that delivery times are lengthening. When I first got a build date of May 23rd, I was thinking I might see my CG Maverick about four to five weeks after it was built. Of course, my calculation of anything like a delivery date was not too bright! My latest build date is June 16. But back to delivery, the four to five weeks for delivery I was thinking about on May 23rd, is now more like six to seven weeks. Just an observation.

No one on this planet, including Ford, knows. I would not plan on seeing it before their estimated dates.

Mine was built on 5/12 and my estimated delivery date is tomorrow despite the fact that Ford tells me that it hasn’t shipped yet. Average is 20-30 days to get to my dealer from day of shipment. Don’t ask me how Ford math works, but I no longer trust anything they tell me… even those nice Ford reps they have working customer service. We actually know more about how this all works than them or the dealers. It’s rather remarkable. I actually had to walk my dealer through the process of printing a vehicle visibility report!

After a long 9 month wait to get to production, I'm happy (and a little surprised) with 11 days in production and one day to ship after being built.

Hi Jay, I am in DFW also, never received emails from Ford. Mine was built 5/26 and waiting to be shipped since. Did Ford update your truck to "shipped" on tracking site shop.ford.com? Mine has been stuck on "awaiting for shipment"...
