Picked her up on Friday. Hang In there if you are still waiting. I have had thoughts of ordering a hybrid in August but my wife would try to kill me in sleep.

Spotted two hybrid Mavs (both were either Cactus Gray or Area 51) on a fully loaded car carrier (along with several other non-Ford vehicles) on the westbound Dulles Toll Road this morning around 10:15am.

I assume they were headed toward the Chantilly location (or possibly Fairfax). Somewhat surprisingly to me, they both already had "Ted Britt Ford" decals on the tailgates; I would think that wouldn't happen until they arrived at the dealership, as part of the "dealer prep" stuff. Anyway, hopefully somebody in here is getting their Mav soon!

Finally! Picked up at Bill Talley in Mechanicsville on Friday afternoon between thunderstorms and tornado watches. As soon as the threat of hail was gone, I signed the paperwork. Haha

I'm in Richmond, going on Saturday to finalize my order with Richmond Ford West. Ordering XLT hybrid with copilot 360, trailer hitch, drop in bed liner, and rear window.
How was your experience at Richmond Ford West? I have been taking my Focus there to get serviced for about 4 years, so I am planning on going there to order my '23. If you don't mind me asking, what Salesman did you use?

If I may ask, how long did you wait for yours to hit Bill Talley? If I am not satisfied with how things go at Richmond Ford West, I may try them next.

I can interject here a little bit. I ordered from Bill Talley in October and it just got here in the first week of July. I think that’s mainly a product of them being a smaller volume dealer. I purposely ordered a spec that shouldn’t have much delay. But as far as sales and stuff goes, they were actually pretty great. They asked for $500 upfront when I placed my order and they honored it on my down payment and the trucks MSRP.

I actually had some issues with my down payment and the bank clearing my check that they worked with me on and waited to cash the check until I told them we were good. And I also recently decided I’d rather not finance the add-ons that they offer. So I called them and said I’d like to get a refund. They pushed back a little bit on that but respected my choice and said they’d reimburse that part of the loan. So, all in all I’ve had a good experience. I never worked with them before anything maverick related.

Almost exactly 9 months to the day. Probably not the fastest, but they were really easy to work with and were upfront about the pricing. When the truck did show up, i was in and out in 20 minutes with no high pressure sales for add-ons and services. I definitely recommend them if you don't mind a little waiting. As the other guy said, they're a smaller dealer so things take just a little longer.

Hey all, surprised nobody else has created this thread yet, but I wanted to find out who else in VA is obsessed with the Maverick. I'm up in NOVA and due to ordering everything that is currently constrained/limited, I likely wont see my Maverick until February or March but that's alright because it's my dream build. If you've received your Mav, I'd love to know who you ordered through, see pictures, and hear about what you plan on adding.

I ordered my hybrid XLT on November 3rd from Malloy in Charlottesville. I had just received my unemployment insurance for 2021 in one lump sum. I keep hearing Snow White singing Someday my truck will come but it is only in my head. I got the confirmation but that's been it.

VEC wants me to pay back all the money from 2021 but I have an appeal. It's just as well the truck hasn't shown up as the VEC money is my down-payment.
