I do not understand why I would want to install this when it is just connecting both side of the body. It is not connected to any part of the suspension.

It's for side to side body flex, not suspension. It's not the first one of these for the Maverick, the others all attach the same way.

I think I understand. After we get truck & drive for a while, find out how it handles, might look into this. Remember the 1980s Bonnyville's, they would sway way too much in a turn. Hope this truck does not do that.
