I wanted to see how many people that chose Velocity Blue got scheduled in the final round of scheduling in August. I was, and I'm wondering if it's because that color won't be available for 2023 and Ford is trying to knock those out.

Have a September 5 build date. Ordered a velocity blue hybrid xl with only a drop-in bedliner from Larson Ford in Brick/Lakewood.

My velocity blue hybrid is scheduled for build on August 22. We’ll see.

Aug 29th week build for my Velocity Blue

No joy yet, really wanted the hybrid XLT in VB. But on the way home yesterday we stopped at the dealership to see if they had a Maverick on the lot. They had 3, one VB with a SOLD sign and 2 XLs in white for retail sales; all were EB. Then we decided to check out other Ford models so we could see paint colors in person instead of the color swatches on a computer screen. We saw the Atlas Blue on something, which looked good, but not good enough. Much to my surprise, my wife loves Cactus Gray after seeing it on a Bronco, so come August 2nd that will be on my 2023 rollover order.

I don't think it's a pigment shortage issue so much as Ford is just phasing out the color in favor of Atlas Blue. It had already been dropped from the F-150.

I am velo blue ordered on 12/17/21 and as of Monday this week scheduled for build on 8/23/22. We shall see...

My build is scheduled for 8/29 as well. Going to check with Ford online chat people and see if I've been pushed back. I'm assuming so with the airbag recall. Sigh...
