considering the $230 version without the addons. I like that it folds in half. This is really cool. $285 is a little tough to spend on a bed divider though. Any more pics?

$13 for the bed extender?? is that a typo? Do you have the link since that is dirt cheap!!Sport Trac bed extender($13 at Salvage.) Gator FX3 hard tonneau.
Also have some collapsible storage bins I got at Costco.
Found it at a local salvage in a wrecked Sport Trac. Indeed $13.$13 for the bed extender?? is that a typo? Do you have the link since that is dirt cheap!!
Where is your red flag on your lumber? Anything extending out of your bed over 4', in most states has to be flagged.Everyone that posted have some great suggestions!! For me, I do as one poster does and put my groceries on the back seat and floorboards. On a Home Depot and Lowe’s trips to get lumber, I adjust the tailgate down, put the 2 x 4 x 8 studs in the back, and use ratcheting straps to hold them in place. Or sometimes I just keep the tailgate up.
I was riding an e-bike last year, and I’d keep the tailgate down, put the e-bike in the bed, and keep it in place with ratcheting straps. After having lumbar spinal surgery in November, and major cervical spine surgery at the beginning of January, my riding days are over.
So, I’ve had an aluminum tri-fold hard top tonneau cover since I bought my first Maverick on 26 Jan 22. I love it! Never had a leak. Locks in place when the tailgate is locked, and is easily removed if I need to. When I traded in my XL for an XLT, then the XLT for a Lariat, I kept the tonneau cover!
I occasionally would have a problem with some things I put in the bed that would tilt in the grooves and slide around. The fix was buying a carpeted bed mat. That evened the bed straight across.
I’ll post some pics so you can get an idea how I use the bed.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it. I love it in fact. Comparing it to Fords version for F150's, its right in line. I do like the add on bracket for gas cans. To me, that is one of the biggest reasons to get one. I've been thinking about how to make one.considering the $230 version without the addons. I like that it folds in half.
That's awesome and hilarious, I drove behind a SportTrac the other day which was in unbelievably great shape. Initially thought it was a Maverick and had to do a double take!Found it at a local salvage in a wrecked Sport Trac. Indeed $13.
I forgot to flag it. The lumber store is less than 2 miles from my house, but yes, it’s my fault for not flagging it.Where is your red flag on your lumber? Anything extending out of your bed over 4', in most states has to be flagged.
No. I just had to tap the existing hole (or you could use a nut on the other side) and use the bed extender bolts I had. I actually bought it in 2021 and used it on my 2005 Sport Trac before buying the Maverick. That's awesome and hilarious, I drove behind a SportTrac the other day which was in unbelievably great shape. Did you have to modify the extender any to fit?

I might look into that myself. I was just going to buy the one on Amazon, but that is a much cheaper idea.No. I just had to tap the existing hole (or you could use a nut on the other side) and use the bed extender bolts I had.
