I need to replace my rear seat (spilled a whole bottle of Avocado Oil on it and it seeped in). I've tried cleaning it and I just can't get all the oil out.

I'm trying to find a used seat that's in good condition but I'm at a total loss to find something local since it's a large heavy item making shipping expensive.

Any pointers of where to find used parts in SoCal?

Places I've looked:
ebay
Craigslist
LKQ Pick Your Part
Car-Part.com

I would think there would be some inventory out there but it doesn't seem to be.

Most salvage yards use a non-interchange reference for seats and interior parts. Meaning they can inventory them but with so many options, colors, trim levels, sides, etc. it's hard to be specific. The inventory system usually searches 2-3 year on either side of the year you request. Any body style changes can get lumped together (not a problem for the maverick). It all comes down to how a yard enters the main options and the details the inventory guy adds in. Some places don't bother with seats because they get ruined when exposed to weather or parts get tossed on them. The Car-part.com is one of the better used part search engines.

I’ve had something similar happen.

first get an absorbent powder and work it into the seat to try to get as much oil out as possible and then follow up with a powdered dish soap mixed with a little water and form a paste and scrub the seat with it. I use a soft bristle brush on the end of a low powered drill to scrub it. And then use a detail vacuum (small pet vac should work) if it sprays and vacuums up water.

I use eBay all the time to buy parts for my Maverick. The good thing about all the totaled Mavericks is there is a ton of low mileage salvage parts out there. Not to mention Bronco Sport and Escape cross-over parts. ADV Auto Parts from the link above is one of my go-to's. Most parts are in like-new condition unless noted. $550 for complete rear seats shipped to your door seems like a bargain to me. You can also "make an offer" and usually the seller will agree if it is within reason.

Thanks for everyone's input!

I have removed my seat and washed it with dawn a couple times and it made a huge difference but not enough so I think I need to replace it.

I will try one more time this weekend since I know I can just replace it do I don't need to worry about messing it up.
