  1. How is your Ecoboost doing on MPG?

Off highway (mix of 30-55mph zones) I get 32-38mpg on highway (65mph zones) I get 22-25mpg
  2. Tonneau + Ladder Rack vs. Truck Cap

While I don’t have first hand experience with a truck cap on my Maverick, I did have one on my Ram and chose to go with a tonneau this time. I found out quickly how annoying it is to have a truck cap when you want to move larger items. (Like a bed frame or dresser) I had to borrow a trailer to...
  3. For DIY New Rotors / Pads - Did you grease the slide pins?

I always do. I clean the slides and regrease
  4. Side vent lighting

Iā€˜m in the same boat as you. I might design something and 3D print it and figure out how to do a switch back style signal. I don’t like the sequential style like most aftermarket lights have.
  5. ā˜€ļø What’s everyone actually storing behind the Maverick screen?

That’s where my camera and phone mounts are attached. I have the Bulletpoint dash mount and it’s amazing. Highly recommend it.
  6. Tailgate lights recommendation?

I have this one. (the bar and the harness) I’m unsure if the harness will work with the 25+ models though. I did have an issue with it causing the driver side taillight to not work, but it swapped the bulbs in it to LEDs and used FORScan to turn off hyper flash and it’s been fine since.
  7. Introducing a new accessory: Tactical Seat Molle Panels

I like these, but I’m worried in the event of a crash they may be extremely dangerous to anyone in the backseat. Anyone have insight into that?
  8. 怐Mabett Giveaway怑Anyone else already adjusting their Maverick setup for the heat?šŸŽ

once the outdoor high temps are above 65 I put my rear window vents in. For only around $30 they’re amazing. Keep interior temps acceptable even in 85+ degree days. They’re a bit noisy at highway speeds but the extra airflow is great.
  9. Kids left key on playing radio

Yes. It’s either 15 or 30 minutes. I don’t remember which. I do it while on break or lunch at work.
  10. USB adapter for using Forscan

I have this and it works perfectly.
  11. Most negative offset wheels possible with stock suspension (XLT AWD)?

the wheels are close enough to the wheel well. Get something with the same offset but slightly wider, or something with an offset no less than +27mm
  12. Most negative offset wheels possible with stock suspension (XLT AWD)?

Incorrect. The Maverick has a POSITIVE offset of 37.5mm
  13. No 91 octane fuel in my area

I typically get 94 from Sunoco and throw in a gallon or 2 of E-85 (I’m running a COBB tune) and noticed it shows knock on just 94 and it goes away with a little e-85.
  14. Fire extinguisher

I have 2 actually. One in the door cupholder spot and one in the bed.
  15. Form Lighting Headlight Install

Anyone got output shots? I wanna make sure these are worth it since I drive mostly on 55mph limit back roads at night
  16. Forscan adjustment for larger tires?

Right, wider tire but the same aspect ratio means larger diameter. OP didn’t mention an aspect ratio. Could have been 235/60-17 which is a smaller overall diameter tire. 70mph on the speedo means 71.2mph actual speed. I noticed my speedometer is off by more than that much with the same size...
  17. Forscan adjustment for larger tires?

225 to 235 is not a larger diameter tire. That is the tire width. Unless the tire aspect ratio is the same, but it wouldn’t change enough to necessitate changing anything with FORScan.
  18. Form Lighting Headlight Install

Lighting output worth the investment? I’m on the fence about them, and will probably order a new grille and some fogs and indtall everything at the same time.
  19. Used parts suppliers...

I’ve had something similar happen. first get an absorbent powder and work it into the seat to try to get as much oil out as possible and then follow up with a powdered dish soap mixed with a little water and form a paste and scrub the seat with it. I use a soft bristle brush on the end of a low...
  20. New AUTOSAVER88 Tonneau Cover + Rainy Camping Trip

That’s the tonneau I have. I’ve had it for 2 years so far and it’s been nearly flawless. The only issue I have noticed is the clamps it uses at the tail gate end absolutely need to be coated every so often so they don’t rust/corrode.
