FX4 vs 4K? Redundant?

I've got both FX4 and 4K and closing in on 10,000 miles. Get both. Like you, when I need the 4K to tow my 20 foot NauticStar boat it will do it. On the road without any towing it is an excellent set-up for every day, travelling, or light off-road chores/adventures.
When you order you'll do it once so go ahead and get both. Looking back, in times to come, you'll not regret your decision.

Just get both. The 4k comes with a better value because it adds a integrated trailer brake controller along with a different gear ratio. The fx4 hooks can only be done with that package as any other version of maverick has no access or mountable locations for hooks. Since you are getting a XLT the FX4 would also give you the bigger and imo better dash display. They are both a good value for the money.

Also fx4 comes with monotube rear shocks vs the twin tube on every other model. Not sure if the site shows that now but I don't think it did for the 22s.

This, if your towing the lower gear ratio is a no-brainer. If you decide to put bigger tires on the lower gear ratio will benefit you as well.

Looks great. Pretty much how I will configure mine. On the fence on Lux. Anything you’d do different?

Nothing Different.
I’m also glad I got the LUX package.
I live in Indiana so LUX will be nice to have heated seats, steering wheel, side mirrors.
