USB charging ports not working

Today neither the USB or the USB -C charging ports are working. Did all the usual unplug/replug, car off/car on maneuvers. When I first plugged it in it did a rapid on- off charging , then, nothing. 2024 eco boost. Anyone ever have that problem? Just asking before I call dealership.

Thanks! After I got home I decided to try one more time. Now they’re working! Weird. Not going to think about it anymore - unless it happens again.

I'm guessing you tried using a known working cable. From your latest post that now the ports are working it sounds like an intermittent problem and that is a symptom of a damaged cord.

Issue kept recurring so I took it in. After 2 hours I was told that they needed to order a part. 2 weeks and still waiting to hear from them.

You made this post some time ago an I open your issue has been resolved. My port has been a hit and miss for some time and recently it was a miss when I needed it most. I have narrowed it down to the actual port but I don't know if its the port or the wire hook up. I can't get the brown wire hook up disconnected. The C works, but the A does not so I can continue to use this. In your case, was it the devise or the cords?
