My dealer is more of an F150 and above dealer, rural town. I'm not a roll over and they don't have any other roll overs. The sales manager shared this with me.

Ordered at same dealer on monday. Gave them the email explaining the process for 2023 to 2024 orders. Order is placed. Still no email. Freaking out a bit.

I wasn't going to order another Maverick. Yet, my son suggested he wanted one when he returned mine.

I had to find another dealership now that Autonation Ford of Tustin requires retail customers to agree to purchase $1280 in unnecessary charges. I also won't buy from Villa Ford or any Tuttle-Click dealership. Thus, I chose Galpin Ford.

So far, I am not impressed with their lack of communication.

The configuration:

• XL FWD Hybrid
• Cactus Gray
• Co-pilot360
• Spray-in Bedliner => We would accept removing this and paying the dealer to have Line-X Premium installed instead
• Trailer Hitch Receiver with 4-pin Connector

We are willing to wait as long as necessary to get an XL Hybrid for M.S.R.P.

Ordered a 23 XLT Hybrid (Cactus Grey) in October. Just ordered the same but Terrain and the Luxury Package. Dealer is Hansel in Santa Rosa. They said they will honor the old markup and will prioritize the 12 of use who have been waiting.

I would say the majority of orders here are for MSRP.

Old markup ?

It's very generous for the dealer not to charge more for a truck that was never delivered. Sheesh...

He says he placed the new order on July 18 but I have no confirmation email from Ford. The order sheet that my dealer gave me says in small print at the bottom, "This order has not been submitted to the order bank."
What the heck? This is the worst vehicle buying experience of my life.
How do we know what to believe?
I prefer to buy from American companies but the Nissan Frontier is starting to look pretty good...

My order sheet says the same thing. I did receive a confirmation email though.

Normal to say that.
Then Ford will verify that it is in the order bank after the dealer gets around to entering it. My email from Ford came at 5:23 PM MDT on 7/17...less than 30 minutes after I signed my order with the dealer. Guess my dealer was on the ball.

I noticed the same. I bet most XL capacity will be used for rollovers. Risky to order one if you’re a new order and NEED it this year. (Just my hunch).

I'm under no illusions, I'll ride with it and see, I can always modify the order if need be.
