I am about to purchase a temporary use drop in bedliner, but my truck is brand new and I don't want to damage the paint under the bedliner. I'm thinking about something that will protect the paint for when I decide to remove the bedliner in the future (perhaps next year some time).
Was wondering if there is an existing product out there for this purpose. I was also thinking that putting in plastic sheeting such as the type used to protect floors when doing interior renovation, might cause moisture to be trapped under the bedliner, potentially causing/accelerating rust and/or mold. Hence why I though of several stickers/decals on the 'peaks' of the bed. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
